The song is ultra HOt.Just 1 thing-these vocoders on the vocals-aren't they way too old, I mean it's been ages since Cher's Believe.I think it would've been better with just her deep, husky vocals. This one shoudl blow up in any case!I don't know how they will hol dit till further down the release road.

I don't think it's "way too old" at all. Mariah's not the first person this century to use a vocoder. And, like I'm That Chick, this is something fresh for her. I'm all for that. Remember, it's an album, and I'm sure there'll be variety vocally.

THIS SONG WAS TAILOR MADE FOR RADIO IF ANY SONG EVER WAS......IF THIS WAS FIRST SINGLE .....OMG!!!

im with u that its made for radio

but cmon TMB exceeded expectations and is #1 so... lets not do the 'this shoulda been'

tmb is a great lead single. it would've been lame as a later single -- glad it got to shine

You see its not about exceeding expectations.....THIS SHOULDA BEEN!!!!! This woulda have been number one since 2-3 weeks ago....airplay would still be rising...Usher would have never seen number one....it woulda have been number one at Rythmic and urban and eventually pop!!!! This song crushes Love in da club and Sexy Can I!!!!!!!!! This would have been shutting down the clubs all over the states right now! Dont even question it!

Remember how Ushers Yeah! dominated before Confessions came out!!!! Trust me it would be like non stop rollercoaster to selling very cloe to one million records in teh first week if this track was first single!!!!

Im happy for TMB and all but it could have been straigt domination if she wanted to right now....you have this locked up in the vault having djs calling it a radio track????? This is crazy to me right now.

so what about how everyone said TMB would flop

with the logic that just because u have a feeling about a song doesn't mean it'll come true...

I don't think Migrate woulda done ALL of what u said... I think it would've turned off a lot of people actually... the TMB video too was huge factor in generating a lot of great positive buzz for Mariah... Migrate is too specific a genre and the video woulda been her all sexy which has been done so much -- coulda backfired.

This really does need to be the next single. This would really BLOW UP right now. I think IDJ might be missing an opportunity here...

How is Touch My Body not "straight domination"? It broke Rihanna's iTunes sales record.

Don't get so excited that you need to diss Touch My Body. I really think it was the best first single, I don't know why specifically, but people just really responded to it. If she released Migrate first, I think it would be a very specific type of thing and more of a statement. They obviously didn't want to shock her audience or turn people off.

Touch My Body was the perfect first single - stats don't lie .

I think the song will go to #1 on Urban and Rhythmic by itself just on hype/buzz. Because downloads are a BIG FACTOR on who gets to #1. Migrate COULD end up being #1 on iTunes and get Mimi that Hot 100 #1 without even being a REAL SINGLE!!!

Is it beause they're getting calls requesting it already? What if people start requesting the song like crazy? Lol, maybe it can chart without even being a single.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I ain't trying to read this whole thread.

The synths in the second part of the chorus are nice. Is this her first time dabbling into any sort of electronica on an album?

Touch My Body really was the perfect first single. I wouldn't have done it any different. Perfect. However, i'm not so sure Bye Bye is better choice than Migrate...

I'm confused why B96 has the song. Especially since it's not the 2nd single.

Also, the timing is weird. We kept hearing that as soon as TMB goes #1 (aka right now), the 2nd single will hit radio.

That specific a genre comment is pure nonsense and if you look at the number one pop songs recently you would notice that Flo Roida Low was number one on Pop and Rythmic for a damn long time....If its Like That didnt turn people off...Migrate wouldnt have turned off one soul....we aint here to please everyone!!! We here to break records son......This song would created ten times the buzz TMB...not only was everyone mouths salivating for Mariah to return but for her to return to radio in this triumphant unstopable form would have seriously sealed it right out of the box. We would be chasing Usher right now...hed be eating our dust!!!

I agree, I don't know why they'd play this song or how B96 got the green light to debut the song. I don't understand???
