Do you think IDJ should milk TMB for as long as possible? or move quickly to the 2nd single?

I hope they milk it, I think its gonna be a monster airplay hit, its just not moving at the same pace as Usher, but what if it moves top 2 or 3 at urban, rhy, and pop? Its possible, but it would take another 3-4 weeks to tell if it can do that or not. Either way, this song is gonna have pretty good longevity. This song kinda reminds me of Nelly's/Kelly's Dilemma', and it could very well perform as good as that song did. I still feel like were in the early stages of TMB's chart life. Theres still a lot of room for TMB to grow at urban and rhy and especially a pop. In the end, I think TMB could match SIO's airplay.

You do know SIO had about 200M on mediabase? I think the best to hope for TMB is just over 150M like Chris Brown 'With You' just did. I still think IDJ will send a new single to radio, either the week of the album release or soon thereafter. I think if the album gets off to a great start and is has good sales through the first several weeks, there is no need to 'rush' things, but at the same time, I think they do need to at least 'promote' a new single in a few weeks. Just to get ppl more interested in the album after it's debut.

Leona, by the way, is at No. 6 on the streaming chart...gonna be a close race.

Didn't she have a physical single release in Target last week, too? Would that help her or does that not even count?

I know that, but its so early, I dont see how anyone can not be optimistic, especially considering many people, including you, didnt think it would get to where it is now. However, I didnt know Chris Brown only got to 150M, and he was like #1 at all 3 majors, so never mind about TMB matching SIO lol image. Did 'No One' reach 200M at Mediabase?

I don't know too but from the pulse music board someone said "with 4 minute you can buy it as a single, buy it from the regular album, buy it from the limited edition album. Hence the three different versions charting"

They're the same version. One comes from the regular album, another from the deluxe edition of the album and the other from the single I believe. Good strategy if you ask me.

I doubt TMB gets SIO's numbers. I think nowadays Mediabase numbers are lower than they used to. Anyway I'm more than happy with TMB's success! Elvis here we come image

Speaking of Elvis, his wife Priscilla looked like a waxed figure on DWTS last night. That woman has had far too much plastic surgery since Elvis died.

TMB is now #13 on Itunes France, which is good IMO, and still #1 on Itunes videos.

Regarding Leona, I hope she's #1 too this week, this will be so close...
Colson, when I said "I told you Leona will sell big" I was not refering to you specifically, but last week I commented on the 103% sales increase of Leona and I said she will be a threat for Mariah because her sales would be a lot bigger two weeks later and someone (don't remember who) said she won't be a threat.
Ok she's not anymore because Mariah is selling A LOT but who was expecting this ?

Anyway I'm happy with all this

I didn't even realize the probabily of Leona Lewis bumping Usher out of the top spot on the Hot 100 this week. hmmmmmmmm

I didnt either until Colson mentioned it. Bleeding Love sold a little over 80k more than Usher, and there airplay gap according mediabase is right around 80 million. It'll be tight. I dont really care whose #1 because I love both songs, but I'd love for Leona to hit #1, and then Mariah dethrone her the following week image
