Yeah. It was produced and written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and co-written by Jesse McCartney.

Has Bleeding Love already been sent to US radio?

Yes. It went to radio this past week.

I do hope it's no serious competition!Has it been successful so far?

I don't see Leona being a big threat to anyone, let alone Mariah regarding radio play. I could see her becoming a grammy darling, ala Norah Jones, just to piss Mariah off, since she basically is Mariah 2.0image

Why people feel the need to put other artist's down in order to make Mariah look better ... that's way over my head. You can actually appreciate other artists without putting anyone down in the process, mate.

Leona is amazing. She seems influenced by Mariah but that's a compliment and speaks volumes about Mariah's legacy. I think Leona will have a great career and I wish her all the best. Mariah's on a whole different level and place in her career even, so I don't see how Leona's a threat. Even if she was, a bit of healthy competition is great.

Sounds like what people usually say about Mariah.

boring!!! thats why i hate american idol and these competitions. most of them just worry about what notes to hit instead of interpreting the song. except melinda doolittle, she was great.

Stop hating, just because she can hit the notes.

You know that the more you post things like that the more of a fool you look like, right mate?

People expect everyone to give Mariah love for her work, yet a lot of Mariah fans would rather go broke than compliment another artist.

Such a small minded mentality I reckon.

lol. because I dislike Leona Lewis, i am small minded? IMO, she is just an big empty voice singer. she does NOTHING 4 me. I can not feel her performances like I do with Mariah. and to Rebirth....plz Mariah can just stand up there and smile and emote better than Leona.

Mariah's the better vocalist hands-down, but I think Leona comes across more natural as a performer than Mariah does most of the time actually (especially in the latter half of her career). Time will tell how Leona does but I think she's definitely got a huge career ahead of her. If she had an empty voice people wouldn't have made her album the fastest, biggest selling album in the history of the UK. If people can't feel the music they won't buy it, obviously they did.

plz, it has nothing to do with that. she was on a television show. look at britney spears, all the boybands in the late 90s, how much they sold!! record sales dont determine talent and ur ability to emote on stage and in your music.

TV shows end, life goes on, the music still needs to sell itself. Her song was number one for a long, long time - long after "X Factor" was over. Do your research.

Just so you know, i wasn't commenting on Leona Lewis, it was a more a comment on how the industry treats Mariah. Don't put words in my mouth, please. I like Leona, i think she's very talented, and i love Bleeding Love, so perhaps you should learn a bit more about people before you start assuming things. What i meant to say was i don't think her song is a threat to Mariah, plain and simple. That's not me putting Leona down in any way, it's just my opinion that US radio is much more likely to spin TMB long after Bleeding Love is done. And what i said about Leona probably becoming a Grammy darling is a comment on the industry, not Leona, because Leona is so much like Mariah (looks, song choice-wise, even singing style to some degree), which would be yet another knife in Mariah's proverbial back, as she gets no such appreciation, yet all the up and comers who looked up to Mariah and have stated M as total inspiration (and more often than not are Mariah wannabe's, like Beyonce), get the accolades that Mariah deserves.

This is especially true with songs that contain loops, such as 'Touch My Body' or 'We Belong Together'.

Truth is I don't think 'WBT' and 'TMB' are similar in anything other than tempo. 'WBT' is a very simple song, with one vocal through the whole thing, where as 'TMB' has a lot of layers. 'TMB' has a more diverse structure, too with a pre-chorus and bridge. 'WBT' has neither of those.

Also, 'WBT' is sung in a very low register througout, and then octaved up for the belting finale. 'TMB' doesn't do that... They're
Well the both follow the same damn short structure where you barely hear the chorus 3 times before its freaking done! LOL

And that's the reason both songs have so many spins on my playcount image I think they deliberately leave people wanting more, it worked for 'WBT' I hope it works for 'TMB'

I dont think its goona work here....the ending of WBT was pretty dramatic and made you want more but you still felt like the song was finished as well. With TMB...when it ends and the sound starts getting softer I'm like WTF!!! Cause ive just started to feel the groove. The remix that dude did over the Umbrella track really doeos it for me because u get the chorus coming around at the end and u get to groove for a while.

But is that just because you're a Mariah fan, and love the big belting bits, though? I mean, do the general public really love it that much? Most people I know that aren't fans actually find the super-high belting parts at the end a turnoff.

I used to say this for the longest time....she would sing and it would sound so technical all the time. But TEOM I really started to feel some life in her voice. I don't know if it's because she lost some of her luster and power, but her voice is really listenable these days. And in the past her voice was a big turn off.

Great point, man.

I don't see why every Mariah song has to be so vocally dramatic. I wonder if she thinks that expectation of her is hilarious, because I do. Not every song calls for that.

So it seems that there will be only one powerful ballad on the album and that sucks....I guess the rest of the ballads will be following the WBT pattern..if there are any other actually because, judging from the reviews that we've read so far, most of the album is about club bangers and mid-tempo tracks..
