Stargate also did the nice "TGIFY" remix.

Loving You Long Time is the song I can't wait to hear! I've been waiting for someone to sample the Stay With me chorus (to me the best part of the song), and I bet Mariah does!

As for number of tracks, remember no one has heard the James Posner, Darkchild or Danja tracks yet. I bet this CD will have at least 15 tracks!image

I also don't understand why he compares "TMB" to "WBT." I can see comparisons to "SIO" because it's laid-back and bouncy, but how it is like the ballad "WBT?"

TMB does resemble WBT (and DFAU) in terms of having a stronger, pretty melodic line. And somebody here mentioned the "I will hunt you down" melody is exactly like "We belong together" and I agree. It just shares the bouncy feel and fast-syncopated effect of the verses with SIO.

Has the Darkchild track been mentioned in any of the reviews yet? I so wish he has at least one song on the album.

Funny enough, when the Slant review mentioned TMB sounded like WBT, I thought to myself "WTF"? But for some reason, when I was reading Friedman's review today, it sounded a lot less weird and now when I listen to the song, I can 100% see (well, hear) the similarity. I can't believe I hadn't noticed it before. I haven't decided if that fact makes Mariah amazing or the exact opposite

Just because you can sing it over it doesn't mean that it's copying it. I can sing the hook of 'Heartbreaker' over virtually anything, does that mean it's copying every song? Many songs follow a typical chord structure which means that they can often be "mashed together". This is especially true with songs that contain loops, such as 'Touch My Body' or 'We Belong Together'.

Truth is I don't think 'WBT' and 'TMB' are similar in anything other than tempo. 'WBT' is a very simple song, with one vocal through the whole thing, where as 'TMB' has a lot of layers. 'TMB' has a more diverse structure, too with a pre-chorus and bridge. 'WBT' has neither of those.

Also, 'WBT' is sung in a very low register througout, and then octaved up for the belting finale. 'TMB' doesn't do that... They're pretty different to me. Mariah didn't follow 'WBT's formula at all, I think songs like 'Thanx For Nothing' will do that, though.

Well Roger Friedman has been praising Mariah constantly since she got involved with Benny Medina. I think he would have given a positive review regardless of the actual music.

im not sure about him giving mariah a free ride. he roasted her for getting rid of cindi berger.

And that's the reason both songs have so many spins on my playcount image I think they deliberately leave people wanting more, it worked for 'WBT' I hope it works for 'TMB'

I dont think its goona work here....the ending of WBT was pretty dramatic and made you want more but you still felt like the song was finished as well. With TMB...when it ends and the sound starts getting softer I'm like WTF!!! Cause ive just started to feel the groove. The remix that dude did over the Umbrella track really doeos it for me because u get the chorus coming around at the end and u get to groove for a while.

Has Bleeding Love already been sent to US radio?

I don't see Leona being a big threat to anyone, let alone Mariah regarding radio play. I could see her becoming a grammy darling, ala Norah Jones, just to piss Mariah off, since she basically is Mariah 2.0image
