I know MB gets a ton of hate, but I cant imagine anyone in their right mind hating it because of it's vocals. And I do agree with Mike when he says
MB's production was popular for its time. Just like in 15 years, people will be looking back on TEOM and likely E=MC2 saying how it's dated,
and cheesy in comparison to whatever is "hot" at the moment. ::rolls eyes::
That's interesting because many have said 'TEOM' is sort of like a 2005 'Music Box'- both big blockbuster albums that
are very calculated and designed to ensure success after previous disappointing/flop releases. Both are also very dated and lyrically don't say much.
I actually think 'E=MC2' could be like 'Daydream'- more of the same of the previous album, with perhaps a little more artistic variety.
I hope you're right. That means there will be a 'Butterfly' after it.
Let's not get carried away with the cycle thing:)You know there are some bad moments along that walked way.
That's true, much as I love it, we certainly don't want another 'Rainbow' and then a breakdown! However, given that by the album after
'E=MC2', Mariah will be a bit older and had (hopefully) a great deal of commercial success with both her previous 2 albums, I don't think a
'Butterfly'-like album is that out of the question.
