If they cut down all the in between noise and space

between songs, wouldn't that fit 80 minutes? They didnt have to put those two interludes on the CD either :lol

Re: The TV special was horrendous, so no.

How was the TV Special horrendous?

I loved everything about it. Music was great, loved how they gave a fresh breathe of life into all her songs that were performed. The choreography and dancing was second to none.

I regret not going >: , woulda been a £100 well spent.

All the songs are on constant repeat and I'm listening to Madge alot more than I use to.

Re: He doesn't like 'COADF' so it doesn't surprise me that

How can one not like COADF? :eek

Anyway, I'm loving this DVD! Madonna is, to me, the greatest entertainer in music today.

AND: I also like Mariah!! :eek

By some people's reactions, you'd think that was impossible!

It certainly was

And until Madonna gets some 'soul' back in her music, I'll always feel the same way. I don't know what kind of crap she's doing right now but you know she'll dothe same thing on her next album.

She's getting old and the only way she'll most likely stay 'relevant', at least outside the U.S., is to keep doing European dance music. Expect her to be on stage at 55-60 dancing around in a leotard outfit.:lol

I think it's funny how ppl say she always does something different but her next album will be another rehash of COADF b/c she knows she can't do anything else that would be a huge hit.

one aspect that ruined it for me...

...was the unneccesary digital effects. it added negatively to an already busy concert. needless to say, the highlight for me was the new arrangements to some of the songs (especially erotica).

Re: one aspect that ruined it for me...

I agree with you. I want to watch the show as if I actually was there. I don't need all the effects. The slow motion thing REALLY bugs me!

Good points. LOL. Debuts at #7 in the UK.

I got mine last Tuesday at best Buy for 419.99.

Media Week:

"Madonna secures her 18th chart album with The Confessions Tour, a combined CD/DVD package which debuts at number seven on sales of 22,000. I’m Going To Tell You A Secret, a similar CD/DVD souvenir of her 2004 Re-Invention tour, which was belatedly released last June peaked at number 18. It has sold only 39,000 copies, making it the lowest selling Madonna album thus far. The Confessions Tour consists primarily of versions of songs from Madonna’s latest studio set, Confessions On A Dance Floor, which has sold 1,236,000 since its November 2005 release"
