You are so lucky! I tried so many times but the system only gave me seats on the side. So I got orchestra 5, row JJ for the final show.

Do people know which aisle/section she usually walks by? Thanks.

Usually, she walks down the aisle between 4 and 5 loops around to walk back up between 2 and 3 for Always Be My Baby. Then She walks up the aisle between 3 and 4 for Heartbreaker. At least that's how it was for the 3 shows for I went to.

Thanks for the info! I was reading tripadvisor reviews, so many people complained about her being late for 30 min. Hope the wait won't be longer than that.

30 minutes really isn't that late in my opinion, especially for Mariah. The times I've gone, it's started at 8:20. But the casino bosses won't tolerate their residents starting super late because they want everyone back at the tables and gambling after the show. So this is about as on-time as Mariah gets!

She consistently started the show around 8:20 or 20min after the show is suppose to start, almost like clockwork, for both the Vegas residency and SSFT. Why not just put the actual time on the ticket? Or, you, know, start on time?

I guess they want all bums 100% on seats for when she comes on? If they say 8pm, she's not on till 8.20, you will absolutely have everyone in by then. As you say though, you might get if she came on at 8pm anyway smiley: laugh

Y'all really bitching about 20 minutes? Like Carlos said, they do that to give folks enough time to get to their seats, etc. It's human nature to dillydally. It's not really Mariah's fault in this case. I've never been to a concert where the headliner starts exactly at the ticket time.

Most shows don't start until shortly after the star time. 15-20 minutes. I can't believe someone would complain about Mariah Carey being 30 mins late

I guess people are more likely to complain in Vegas because there are probably more "punters" coming in, not just the fans who will buy concert tickets. But yeah, I think she is known for being late and so the second she is even by a small amount, people are complaining.

I know for some theatre shows they close the doors until after the first scene and do their pre-show announcements to get people to their seats etc etc when the show is set to start, so it is possible to get people where they need to be in a shorter period. For me, 20min is acceptable but I can see how you can be annoyed given her track record, as Kevon said. I think that's the big issue perpetuating people's 'bitching'.

The gross is bigger than June, but less tickets were put up for sale and she sold about the same amount. One show was sold out, against none in the previous leg.

13 sold out shows out of 44 total. Total attendance is 156,522/177,609 (88,12%)

I actually checked and 35k seats were put up for sales in the first 3 legs too. I don't know why they upped it to 39k in June.

Anyway, yes this leg went over better. She almost grossed a million more.

When the total number of seats up for sale is less, does that mean they curtain off sections? Or are they accounting for comp tickets? Seems kind of strange that it wouldn't just be the same capacity every time.

I have no idea how that works.

This works out quite well for a 2017 schedule, on a positive. She can close out Vegas in May and before/after that work on a new album that hopefully we can have out by end of the year. Around all this, film another season of Mariah's World (assuming it performs well) and gear it to focus on the creation of the album and the songs on it, screening it around late 2017 to support the records release.

This sounds like a good plan of action actually! The only thing is I wouldn't want her being filmed to effect the outcome of the record as she has said she feels weird having people in the studio with her. I really hope Mariah's World is a big success because it be a great way to show the world an inside look at what an amazing performer, singer, songwriter and producers she really is. I wonder if they are already planning for a Part 2 or Season 2 of the show ? If so I hope they record the South American Concerts and behind the scenes

Mariah should've put an album bundle for #1 to Infinity with these last Vegas tickets. It's becoming quite a common practice.

EDIT: the shows in Hawaii could've gotten an album bundle too. It's essentially a GH tour.
