I saw the good sis Toni and Babyface in After Midnight on Broadway last night. She sounded great singing Jazz! Loved it.

Miss Toni is amazing on a nasty Jazz beat, so I believe it.

The whole album is outstanding, but I'm sooo obsessed with "Roller Coaster" in particular. My God what a stunning song... Second only to YM it's the ballad I'm loving the most currently. It's got a great melody, bridge and I love Babyface's little outro. I want this to be a single and another UAC smash for them.

Oh, I just love Roller Coaster!Such beautiful music, haunting...Somehow reminds me of the Roof atmosphere.Would love to hear Mariah's vocals on this one, maybe even a duet with Toni.

Really love "I Wish", too -does anyone else here  Can't let Go's  "even though I try" part in it?
"The D word" is obscenely good!
Thank God Toni didn't quit singing!

Toni Braxton will star as singer Darlene Love in OWN’s biopic of the famed pop vocalist.
TV PILOTS/DEVELOPMENT SCORECARD: Follow all of the development action during upfront season

“My Name is Love: The Darlene Love Story” is slated for a December premiere. Pic revolves around Love’s long career in the music biz, starting out as the key voice behind Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound hits from the 1960s. OWN’s first scripted telepic is shepherded by the docu filmmaker Morgan Neville, who was behind last year’s “Twenty Feet from Stardom” feature about Love and other well-known backup singers.
“Tulsa” hails from drama vet (and Oklahoma native) Nancy Miller (TNT’s “Saving Grace”).

Well, between Lifetime movies and reality shows her financial future should be secure, as long as she doesn't go out and get her anymore Versace flatware.

I'm telling you if it was all great and scandalous I would have more than half-watched it. Basically she was a bitter b!tch and this new white pastor comes to town and she's all dismissive of him and this old wise black man (her father, the former pastor, IDK?) tells her to give him a chance and they get it on. End scene. LOL

Apparently this jam is the 3rd single FINALLY. It got 4 adds at Urban AC radio this week:

I also want to read Toni's memoir. I have been reading good reviews, the chapters about her childhood are, apparently, especially good.

I'm so happy roller coaster is the new single.

However, the R&B music icon told Us Weekly that she now feels differently about her past. "When my youngest son was diagnosed with autism I feared that I was being punished for my earlier actions. I have since realized that my son is special and learns in a different way.”

I don’t want no cake on my birthday, errday errrday.
