I listened to some of the songs from the album and like them...except for Babyface. They would be better as solo songs for Toni.

I read someone mention solo songs; are there some solo Toni songs on the album?

'I Wish' and 'I'd Rather Be Broke'.

They fit together, the tones.

I agree. I like him and I like some of his old songs too.

I use his R&B classics 'Tender Lover' (which is referenced on 'Hurt You') and 'Soon as I Get Home' too. 'Whip Appeal' is also great.

I just prefer Toni's timbre more and think she sounds great on the songs on this new album. It's more that I want to hear more of her on these songs than that I don't like Babyface.

"Two Occasions" has been giving me life for 25 years! smiley: laugh

I like 'Face alright, some of his solo work (and his album "The Day" in particular) is pretty stellar. Not the most varied vocalist, but decent for a male. I don't like his falsetto at all though, especially not on this album.

It's just a shame that it's one of the less interesting songs on the album.

Yeah, nice vocals! Babyface can't help but show off his falsetto I guess though lol
