Heart attach

The 'I Wish' lyrics are really a mess But Toni sounds great on it.

I'm warming up to 'Reunited', 'I Wish' and the Kenny solo track 'I Hope That You're Okay'.

I really like the production and vibe of "The D Word", I'm surprised to not see that getting mentioned much.

I had to stop 'I wish'

It was when she sang about hoping her ex got a disease... Just too much of a mess! Lots of other good stuff on the album though, a real R&B throwback album.

HDD estimates 55-60k for the album.

Their promo picks up tomorrow through the weekend, hopefully it rises a bit.

Speaking of Toni and Babyface, the pair are running a veritable gauntlet of TV appearances promoting their Motown duet album, following this morning's Good Morning America appearance with a Braxton Family Values segment tomorrow night, another GMA spot and a Live With Kelly and Michael appearance on Friday, a 2/11 Conan look and more Family Values (include the season finale), among other broadcast opportunities.

Why the sadface? Did you expect them to sell more with their flop names and no hit single? (sorry, just being real).

One can always hope

I just listened to the album and I literally love every song on it, I don't find any filler... I'm stunned! Fave songs, besides "Hurt You," for now:

- "Roller Coaster" [Stunning ballad!!!]
- "The D Word"
- "Sweat"
- "Take It Back"
- "Heart Attack"

Love the album's classy, throwback feel. I wish it would clear 100k first week, although I'm not surprised by its HDD estimates!
As a whole I think it's stronger than Tamar's, since you guys compared the two, although "All The Way Home," "The One" and "Love & War" are as killer as any song off of Toni and Babyface's album.

I don't find any filler either. It's the perfect length and any song I wasn't feeling on first listen, I started getting into after the next few listens. I love "Roller Coaster" "Hurt You" "Sweat" "Take It Back" "Reunited" and "Heart Attack." The solo tracks are good too.

I agree about the classy, throwback feel.  I also love how intimate the album is and the production and vocals really manage to capture that intimate vibe.
