"Love Is" was great. Shanice was also on the 90210 soundtrack if I remember right, and I loved this hit confection from her:

For some reason that reminded me of this:

And let's talk about this jam!

I don't know if people would consider this one cheesy, because it's a little bit edgy and dark lyrically, but it def has that early 1990s power ballad feel and I love it. Johnette Napolitano had a really interesting and smoky kind of voice.

^Her up-tempos were just as good, if not better imo. 'Tell It To My Heart' and 'With Every Beat Of My Heart' are both still jams.

Yeah, those types of dramatic ballads were what the late 1980s / early 1990s in particular were all about and I miss the hell out of them too. It's a very distinctive production style.

I liked some of her songs but didn't take her seriously.

This has got to be one of the most cheesiest and stupidest songs of the 90s. It was a complete joke.

I swear I was coming here to post that song!! And YES at the "With Every Beat Of My Heart" mention. I still play the hell out of it. What happened to Taylor after her first 2 albums? As in, why did her popularity drop?
