Not sure what they did to the music in this, but the spirit of the video is what's important... I used to be pretty into this song when I was 11/12 lol

Yeah, I guess the initial point of the thread per David's description are songs that you *secretly* love, but are embarrassed by because they are so bad. So I guess the litmus test is whether or not you'd actually openly declare your love for the song lol.

Almost all of mine fit that criteria, but I might be coming from a different perspective, because most of my friends really only like rock music, so EVERYTHING I like is bad/cheesy to them lol.

Basically all the music I danced to in my clubbing days in 1999 through the early 2000s fits the bill for me and then some early 1990s stuff.  I didn't like a lot of mid-1990s 'cheesy' music -- although I can think of a few groups -- Aqua for one -- Barbie Girl is on like every single "cheesy 90s songs list" -- although I think that's a bit of a misconception, because they were sort of clever and doing a satire, but don't get credit for it.

Yeah I'm not really embarrassed by anything I like. I do recognize there are songs that some people consider bad/cheesy, and those are usually by one-hit wonders. I'm thinking of "I'm Too Sexy" and the like. I don't like that song anyway, but if I did I don't know why I'd be ashamed of liking it.

I think some people consider this really cheesy/dramatic, but I love it:
