In a recent podcast with actor Pauly Shore , Irving Azoff, Christina Aguilera's manager when asked about Christina Aguilera heading to Las Vegas for a residency:

"Just not time yet. No disrespect to Britney. Or to Jennifer Lopez who's doing one. Or to Shania who did one. Or any of them. You know, Christina's not peaked yet. She's in the prime of her career. "

Christina Aguilera last attempted to tour in 2010 but it was cancelled with rumors of low ticket sales. Her last solo top 10 hit was 2008's Keeps Getting Better.

That statement is just so delusional there barely seems any need to point out its ridiculousness. I mean I'd hate to see her career in a slump if this is 'prime career' territory.

The prime of her career? Christina peaked with Stripped and the following double album.

Back to Basics was basically a flop. Only her debut and Stripped can be considered smash eras.

How do we feel about "Hurt" instead? I think it's better than "Beautiful" tbh even if it's a retread.

This radio station was on a Xtuna high for some reason. I heard 3 of her songs in a matter of 5 hours at the dentist's. They played her like she had passed away or sth, it was kinda creepy

"Hurt" is nice as a song, but she shouts her way through it. The melody could be better; she basically gets to that one point in the chorus and stays there.

Didn't Stripped come out in 2002? And Kelly's first album came out in 2003, I don't think Kelly was famous when the Clown got her hands on 'Fighter'

smiley: ohwell

It's still top 3 Clown songs. And she has 5 good songs imo.

I hate both Hurt and Beautiful but the latter has a better melody.
