It's back tonight. Last season it might have been the funniest show on TV.

“The last thing we want is for things to get complicated like in It’s Complicated, so we’re just going to go with it like in Just Go With It and just be friends with benefits like in No Strings Attached.

"That girl so whack, her first name should be Nick Nack Patty."

^ Penny. She gets a bit tiresome for me, but she's funny. My favorites are:

1. Brad/Jane - can't separate them; they are hysterical
3. Alex - this character has really grown; from her being a lesbian to her racist parrot, she's becoming my favorite
4. Max
5. Penny
6. Dave - easily the least funny, but every show needs a straight man (no pun intended)

Brad's Damon Wayans Jr., right? He's hilarious! He can play a gay guy a little TOO well!

I am sure it isn't related to Mariah, but when Jane shows Brad the Sinbrad puppet and goes, "Get him, get him, get him" I definitely thought of "Triumphant"

This week's episode was one of the funniest episodes of television I have ever seen!

I watched the cold open 3 times before I even finished the episode; Nagasaki bomb, "frosted spruce," Pilates/bakery and "I thought we were all admitting" stuff, etc.

Brad describing Jane's vibe, and Max and Penny reacting, made me laugh out loud, and that led right into, "You didn't like Ringling Brothers with brothers?" (The Greatest Show on Earf!)

The scene of Jane pepper spraying the group killed me! And then the variation on that with the egg nog was just as funny. Wilson does such a hilarious "My eyes!" I know they've done this gag before, but it works every time.

Brad and hip-hop Santa (and then Brad, Max, and Alex at the very end) gave me life.

Hopefully TBS picks this up after ABC undoubtedly cancels it at the end of the season. I think it'd be a perfect pairing for 'Cougar Town'.

Have you still been watching dvr'ing Jason? These last few episodes have been amazing! USA is in talks to potentially pick up the show so hopefully it isn't over for good.

For some reason my DVR didn't record it the past few weeks. I know the Boston stuff pre-empted it one week (what will happen with those?), but not sure what happened last week. Ugh. But I did see the two last night, and they were great!

"Huey Lewis & Them Thaangs"
"Dear Georshe, that thing is no joke"
Max's 2nd Bris being "less of a religious ceremony and more of a horrific jet-skiing accident”
"Yeah, straight sussin"
"Alex you've asked 3 people if they have any grey poupon." "Sure."
”Nobody calls me ashy. Ever. That is not just a slap in my evenly moisturized face, it’s an insult to my personal lotion consultant and my creamist.”
"Women be talkin'"

Alex finishing "perfect" as "Pearl Harbor 'cause we want this wedding to be da bomb!"
Alex not being able to hide
"White people are crazy!"
Alex and the candy where you eat the wrapper
"Ooh la la, pepe le pew, French Stewart"
"I feel like I'm missing something, like that time everyone turned on linen pants all of a sudden"
Alex as the flower girl

Somewhere in there Dave said "The juice is worth the squeeze"
And I loved Brad's throwaway like about Air Supply and "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All"

'Happy Endings' is Officially Dead

Sony has abandoned its attempts to find a new home for comedy Happy Endings. The low rated series was canceled by ABC after a season in which it aired on three different days (Tuesday, Sunday and Friday.) Sony hoped that like Cougar Town, the show would find a home on cable. Unfortunately, USA and several other channels passed. TVLine reports that, with the cast's contract due to expire this weekend, the studio that has eked out renewals for so many marginally rated shows has officially given up on Happy Endings.

I didn't watch the show but this IS news related to this thread. That's all you need to know. I don't owe you any other explanations.
