In Nick's defence, I don't remember his exact, exact words lol. I do remember him making it clear that he doesn't like it though. He may have said "nah, not a fan of that song" or something along those lines. His favorite song from that top 10 MC songs he did, from what I remember was either "Someday" or "Emotions". Or "Underneath The Stars". I gotta find the list now lol - I read it here on FOMM actually.

edit:

found it!

Nick Cannon, Mariah's husband who is about to celebrate a different kind of anniversary with MC has also picked his favorite songs by Mariah. Nick co-starred in Mariah's "Bye Bye" music video and directed the videos to "I Stay In Love" and "My Love". His favorite Mariah songs are:

10. Make It Happen
9. Emotions
8. Without You
7. Heartbreaker Remix
6. Mine Again
5. Don't Forget About Us
4. Fantasy
3. Love Story
2. Someday
1. Underneath The Stars

For some reason I think it's cute that all but one of his favorite MC songs are from BEFORE they were together =)

Ok, so whatever performance(s) she does will air as part of the NFL Kickoff show on NBC tomorrow, correct? Just want to set my DVR right lol

She's doing a mini concert for people who are there, but only one song will air on NBC. I would assume it will be Triumphant but I'd hate to assert that and be wrong, lol.

Cool -- so that will air as part of the "NFL Kickoff" show right, the 1hr long special before the actual game?

LOL no, I'm not into football.  I actually follow American pro-basketball pretty closely though lol  I just want to burn it to a DVD after it airs and this way I can rip it right off the box.

anyone thinks this may be sung live? just looking at her past history of NFL performances, I'd say no.
I think there is a pretty good chance actually,  as it's not the national anthem in a stadium nor is it part of a halftime show, both of which a lot of artists tend to lip.  I've never watched this particular program before though -- anybody else know what the typical conventions are for this particular show?

Someone RTed this on my timeline. It seems a fan was outside when Mariah was rehearsing last night. You can't hear Mariah, but you can see her.

No more homework. No more papers. No more tests.
I am officially done with school.
And, I have officially received my PhD.

This is going to be on tv right???
I've been watching the news all morning and they keep advertising the kick off special and they never mention any musical guests.
BUT, the info for Access Hollywood tonight says MC and No Doubt help kick off the new NFL Season.
So are they the pre pre game????

Tvguide has it as an hour long show "NFL Kickoff" before the game starts between the Cowboys and Giants.

So this won't be from the actual game but at Rockefeller Plaza.

The 2012 NFL season kicks off with a special concert featuring Mariah Carey and No Doubt from a specially constructed stage in front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Hosted by Bob Costas.

Mariah will take the stage at 7:00pm and only one of her performances will be televised on the pre-game special at 7:30pm on NBC.
