^It defeats the purpose. If she's making all of this money doing Vegas shows then why would she even think of doing a reality show? That wouldn't make any sense. Now if she was pressed for money, we can't say we know what any of them would do.

Celine is not a legend at all, she's a 90s relic like Boyz II Men or Toni Braxton. Please don't lump her together with Mariah. Whitney, who is a legend, did a reality show (not that it was a good example of a classy reality show, but still )
Celine Dion is not a legend but Mariah is?How so?

I think some people need to get off their high horses and have a reality check. There are millions of different reality shows these days and not all of them are trashy. Shows like Jon & Kate Plus 8 or Little People, Big World aren't about that at all, they're about showing a different way of life, relationships, family, etc. The people who automatically think reality show = trash are snobs who need to get over themselves.

Bobbbbaaayyyyy,Bobbbbaaay!!!Grrrr,the horror!!!

Yeah, cos everyone that does a reality show automatically starts behaving like a crackhead.

You may think it's a good idea, I just don't.
And no it doesn't mean everyone starts behaving like a crackhead , everyone ,however, choosing to have this type of show is hardly seen as being relevant!

maybe an MTV special(something brief and informative), but not something that shoves the cameras in the twins' faces 24/7. that would be an uncalled for invasion of privacy that I do not think Mariah would approve of. The babies need to grow up as normal as possible!

Something about reality celebrity shows seems trashy(the lachleys, the Osbournes, Chaotic, the simple life...). it overexposes them to a point where they are known primarily for the show and any talent outside the show plays second fiddle. A few videos for the fans would be ok, but not too many. We need the focus on the music.

That's because Celine Dion literally makes hundreds of millions touring and that's where all her focus is.
So if she didn't make all this money out of touring, she would be more open to the idea of doing a reality show?I don't think so.It's not a matter of money but a matter of dignity.

People buy into this PR crap way too much. Celine is just as money hungry as the next person. There's a reason why Celine releases fewer albums (she doesn't even write) yet tours WAY more than she ever did before. She's chasing that dollar. Who has twins and then commits to another Vegas residency show? Please.

Obviously she is chasing that dollar but how is her commiting to another Vegas show NOT good for her twins??!?!?!? She has to sing 4 nights a week. Adding a couple of hrs of rehersals per day and that gives her approximately 20hrs per day, 7 days a week to spend with her family! She is making money, she gets family time at a single location without having to travel around the world and hasn't made herself into a joke. Dignity and money combined. Can hardly ask for more...

Just adding that Celine is much more respected than Mariah both in the States and internationally. And certainly more than Whitney who is a complete joke.

To me Mariah is a legend because she writes, produces... and had the best voice in the industry and she does her music with so much passion.  Mariah has achieved so much more than Celine and def more than Whitney.   If Whitney is a legend, then Celine is a legend too.   But to me Whitney is not a legend, I even respect Celine more then I respect whitney...   What did whitney do after the bodyguard?   Whitney had some very good years but she lost it.  She was more interested in drugs than in singing.   And what is she now?   She is a total joke on stage!!!

But staying on topic, a reality show with just mc and the people surrounding her would be cool but a reality show with nick in it will ruin her career.   Nick is not good for her career, look at the picture with his hands on her breasts.   Nick makes mc happy and that is good, but when nick is involved in her career it is a mess...

I could see Mariah having her own non reality show, too, though. Like, primetime TV, comedy. Maybe even with Nick. I Love Lucy part 2

who cares who is deemed a legend or not, it's all subjective anyway.  We are on a Mariah board, so of course Mariah is a legend.  If you go to a Celine board, they'll say she is a legend.  Same goes for all female singers.  They all have their gay fans who will snatch wigs left and right.

But you have Sarah Michelle Gellar as an idol, so your opinion on the matter can't really be taken seriously.

It is not subjective, it doesn't matter how delusional fans can be. By this logic, even Aguilera is now a legend just because it is subjective and her fans think she is

Be sure to catch Sarah Michelle Gellar's upcoming films:

I don't know when her movies are getting released, because they keep getting $+*#!*! pushed back!  And even when they're released, they go straight-to-DVD.  LAWD!

I am not a massive fan, so don't put words in my mouth b-i-t-c-h.  As for SMG, if you've never seen Buffy, you wouldn't know what a great actress she is, so please shut the f-u-c-k up! k? thanx.  And lastly, I'm a human being, not an "it."

Mariah doesn't bring in the money Celine does touring, so she has to find other ways to make money. What's Mariah supposed to do sit at home and think about whether whatever business decisions she makes make her seem dignified to people who don't even really know her like that?  Seriously.
