Do you think mariah and nick would benefit from a reality show about their lives ala Kardashians. I see it being hilarious and full of life and I could see mariah coming out of an even bigger star esp with the babies coming.

Yes because it would be so amazingly entertaining.

No because I dont think they want to exploit the babies THAT much (just a bit), and because it's still considered pretty low rent to have a reality show.

NO.

Reality TV is for hasbeens. No artist during a time of success has starred on reality TV, see Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Brandy, and Toni Braxton.

No. Reality shows of that kind rarely help their stars career-wise, and they're mostly done as a desperate move to gain some long-gone publicity. I seriously hope Mariah doesn't need reality shows to get the public's attention. Ever.

Not to be facetious, but what 'recent' success has Mariah had? Her last 2 studios albums were a flop. We can assume, but we have no idea of what stage of her career she's in right now...Just saying.

I would rather Mariah retire than have a reality show. If she seriously needs a reality show to get's people's attention then I would rather she call it a wrap.

She hasn't had much, but a hell of a lot more than artists like Brandy and Toni have recently, and Britney did Chaotic and Whitney did Being Bobby Brown when they were both out of control.

It just seems like reality TV is the ultimate act of desperation for someone with practically no career.

OMG I JUST thought about this earlier today and thought about making a thread. I think it would hilarious, and really interesting to peep into her life like that. And it obviously would focus on Mariah mainly and her balancing career and family life, so I think it would be something positive, not trashy like the Kardashians or The Hills.

And she probably will have a role on X-Factor anyway, she doesn't need this kind of crap
This I could stand behind. If Mariah continues to flop I'd like to see her be a judge on a show. Some hasbeens have been doing this lately, J. Lo and Christina coming to mind, with J. Lo actually seeing somewhat of a career resurgence.

It would be great to see Mariah on TV but music related, and she definitely would be a credible judge considering her voice is always considered one of the greatest.

I'd much rather see Mariah on a show like that than some TV crew following her personal life around doing meaningless things like taking trips to Starbucks.

I agree, it's all about how it's framed and what angle they decide to go with. I think if MC had a reality show it would be hysterical. I remember during the CB tour era she mentioned she was talking with UPN about the possibility of a reality show.

I do hope she manages to have an active, valid music (and possibly some movie) career again and never has to fall that low as having a reality show!

Yeah, cos everyone that does a reality show automatically starts behaving like a crackhead.

No, but a TV or radio talk show would be fun. LOL. Specifically radio, I'm sure Mariah would love to talk all day and play music.

I don't think the general public loves Mariah's persona as much as her fans do. Her fans are the only people that find her to be very funny IMO. Bad idea. I think Mariah should stick at what she's good at.
