1. Petals (by quite a bit)
2. Twister
3. Sunflower for Alfred Roy
4. Languishing

Petals is pretty much her first or second best written song I'd say.

Twister has a strange, unique feeling to it and I don't buy her story about the song entirely -- there is some darkness to her life as well. Beautiful vocal too.

SFFAR is very touching and wonderfuly written and one of the only times I have felt her charmbracelet era scratchy voice was suitable for the material.

Languishing is the least personal of the bunch and the most basic, but it's still a nice, intimate song (as intimate as she'll place forward lately anyways). In a way it almost sounds like a song directed at her fans.

Petals
Twister
Sunflower
Languishing

i actually never liked Petals before and I never understand why fans love is so much. But lately i rediscovered the gem and was quite touched by it. I would rank either Twister or Petals the top one, since these days i really love Petals so it gets the crown.

Yeah, Petals was one of those songs I had to catch at the right moment, listening to it in a dark, quiet room before I felt the weight of the words.

Petals is far better than those others.

And so I stand here and testify
To small and great alike
So the more you curse me
The more you're blessing me
The Word said it
Love your enemies

Do good to those who curse you
Pray for those who mistreat you

(Wish You Well / Mariah Carey)

I feel like 'Looking In' should be on this list so:

Looking In
Languishing
Petals
Twister
Sunflowers For Alfred Roy
