Yay, new thread! Thanks Lynn.

This song is a few years old, but I still adore it. It's Anthonio by Annie:

The Designer Drugs remix is also FIRE!

The lyrics are also pretty cool and clever. Does anyone else like Annie?

Did anyone else like Soul II Soul (R&B group from the late 80's)? I love Caron Wheeler's voice, especially in "Keep On Movin'"

Me 2!! What's your favorite song from the album?
This Time is epic.
That's The Way Love Goes is my favorite Janet song of all time. I love almost that entire album, though. The singles are all fire!

I think my favorite from that album is "If", I love the coreography on the video as well. Is it true there's another version with a story and not just them on a stage?

Yes, "If" is my favorite as well from the 'janet.' album.

And so I stand here and testify

So the more you curse me
The more you're blessing me

Pray for those who mistreat you

My mom said she used to argue her girlfriends, she was a fan of Cliff Richard and the others of some other male artist, so I guess it always did happen.

My mom was more of a fan of the male groups and male solo acts. She shunned most of the female singers, but she did say she liked Dionne Warwick(back in the Burt Bacharach days).
