First of all, I don't hate this remix, it's a good song and I love the album version too, but when it comes to the fact that this isn't going to be just a single, it would be released as new track for new remix album so it should've been better than this. I think of how she used to make 'a whole new song' for the remix like re-singing, adding new verse, changing lyric and melody, which is very creative. So what do you think about this issue? Thankyou

I feel you 100%. She use to make the most amazing remixes ever. Now that she's doing her first remix album, you'd think she put her all into these remixes, and that's clearly not the case. In fact, the AC remix required no additional time or creative input from Mariah. Not to say that there wont be some amazing remixes on the album, its just sad that a truly great Mariah remix wont be the lead single.

people don't get it that the the reason she totally re-did her remixes was because they were POP records. She had to remix them drastically.

now that she's making music that is R&B and exactly the kind of music that she used to turn into remixes - she doesn't need to drastically change them.

What is she supposed to do? Get a gutta beat for Angels Cry? the song is already R&B and i love the remix - its beautiful.

I'm very happy with the Touch My Body Tricky remix with Rick Ross the Candy Bling remix ft TPain the H.A.T.E.U So So Def Remix Say Somethin So So Def Remix both the WBT and DFAU Desert Storm remixes, I'm loving the Angels Cry remix, UOMF is growing on me....

so in the last 5 years we've had some pretty great remixes - some resung some not and the majority of them have new tracks..

so in other words -- QUIT BITTCCHIIN lol

I listened to it once more today, and it's really her cheesiest & over-the-top record since... "When I Saw You"? It nearly sounds like it could have been of the those 90s Disney movies themes.

It sounds really dated. Maybe it could work in Asia, they seem to love her slow, big voiced work.

Ok I understand your point and I agree with you but I believe that fans or another people love her remixes because she used to have the new vocal, lyrics and music.

new vocals and new beats does not always equal a good remix.

Yes it does, But the same beat and same vocal with rappers not make people to buy the remix album. My point is if she want to release this remix, that's ok I don't mind , but don't release the remix album, just release as the single from memoirs not angels advocate. I hope you understand my point. And sorry my poor english.image

If you're disappointed it's your own fault for not listening to the facts. The-Dream has clearly stated that this would be more a "features" album than a true remix album, and all the remixes that have leaked so far have been this way. So, it doesn't make sense to suddenly be disappointed.

Greg always uses hyperbole. You have to read it as "the song was okay, nothing special". He always makes everything seem as though it's the end of the world. It's called a pessimist.

LOL yeah it's my fault so the angels advocate is the "features" album not the remix.
