For those comparing Charmbracelet with ILTY, there is really no comparison. Charmbracelet was a better album than Just Whitney and Just Whitney is a little better than ILTY (because of Try It On My Own); therefore; Charmbracelet is DEFINITELY better than ILTY.

CHARMBRACELET > JUST WHITNEY > ILTY. No song from both JW and ILTY comes close to Through The Rain (melodically or vocally).

I think we should definately push for this to be a racial issue, even though I feel like 100% like its not... and I had hope that in 2009 issues of race would start to go away and we could all just exist and love one another. ....but if Wal Mart is going to play dirty.. so will we. The fact is.... Wal Mart, as some here have already pointed out, aready has a shitty reputation for a lot of things... racism is NOT yet one of them .... but if they **@% this up.... it could be. That could be threatening enough for them to make a quick change of direction.
image Whitney has the lambiest fans of all....

Well.. at least airplay is making up for it... image

This all (and Madonnas and Mary J's performance on the charts) just makes me really proud of O's performance.

Sorry for the rant, but I just hate it when people compare "CB" to "I Look to You", which is basically a collection of tracks from hot of the moment producers finished with crappy vocals.

I've been comparing the 2 albums in terms of commercial success/sales, because Whitney's will probably perform like it. 'CB' outshines 'ILTY' in quality (songwriting, melodies and even vocals) IMO.

It's not a fair comparison. 'Obsessed' has been out since June 16th, whereas 'Million Dollar Bill' went for adds last week.

Sure, the song is not doing well regardless, but that was pointless.

People here wanted to know how MDB is doing airplay-wise - the numbers I posted showed that is has a long way to go....

CB wasn't really about hot of the moment producers though, the only kind of hot one was Just Blaze (Camron's Oh Boy). ILTY on the other hand has Stargate, Danja, Tricky Stewart, Johnta Austin and Akon. It's like Clive was checking through the TEOM and E=MC2 credits when he was picking producers.

I have a feeling (or maybe i'm just hoping) that they have more tracks than the ones they put on the final tracklisting. is whitney the kind of artist that records like 40 songs, then cuts it down to 15?
