It's like that time you claimed a flopping Leona single to be  a huge smash in the USA, or the time where you said Forever was HUGEE in Holland, just because 1 radiostation played it a couple of times. You're not being realistic.
Better In Time was a big hit in the USA. Although you can differ of course in opinion as it just missed the Top 10.

I never said Forever was HUGEE in Holland. However, I did say one of the most popular stations at the time (Sky Radio) played it in high rotation months before the single was released. Saying the only played it a couple of times is not being realistic as it was on high rotation for a couple of months.

Better in time was NOT a big hit in the USA.

I always found "Bleeding Love" overrated, the production sounded messy and the lyrics were just repulsive to me.
I remember your disdain  for the lyrics when the song was first released

^ Yup.  I'm no flip-flopping %$##* unless I state that a song has 'grown' on me or something.

Well, BIT was good if you wanted to get off sleeping pills or something lol. I think Bleeding Love had an elegance as well as catchiness, that BIT lacked.

But let's get back on topic. How high do we think the single and album will climb?
I think both will make Top 10 at least.

I wont comment on the album yet since I need to hear it in to be fair......as for the single, it'll definetly go Top 10 in quite a few places. I'm thinking #5 - 6 but I dont see a long shelf live. Its simply not very catchy to get loads of radio support from.

GaGa will get to the top. 'Alejandro' is a hot song, unlike Xtincta's.

Objectively speaking, STDtina really should do better than Gaga- this is her first single in 4 years vs. Gaga's sixth single from an album/rerelease. If Gaga still bests her, that's not good at all for XXX.

That's what I was thinking.  This isn't Gaga's debut single from a new album so you can't really compare.  Her stans will, though

Right.  I can see, for example, STD's fans going crazy in arrogance if 'Not Myself Tonight' does better than 'Alejandro'.  To which I will say, come back to me when Christina can release 7 hits off an album .

The Xtincta stans can start shutting their mouths up for good.
'Not Myself Tonight' hasn't even lasted 48 hours in the upper part of the top 10 at iTunes and is now falling. Its bullet at Pop is diminishing and it's not making substantial gains in audience impressions (compared to the spins it gets).

I think many of us predicted it would have a fizzle after the initial strong opener......a bit like her previous singles of late. Its just not a very radio friendly song in that it really isnt very catchy or strong on a hook. Mind you, I can still see her cracking Top 10.

^ Right. I've listened to it a few times now, and I don't mind hearing it- but it's not very catchy (never has stuck in my head) and is just so short it doesn't really go anywhere.
