Oh, absolutely.....her knowledge of all these things that have massively influenced her are betrayed by her paper thin knowledge and devoid of true passion. She dosent at all speak as someone who understands and is in tune with these genres. Its literally hearing a sound that is hot and she wants to ride on/pretend is really her for credibility.

I bet if you started talking to her about Prodigy she would have no idea about most of their work, let alone their newest album.

Making light of child abuse is taking it a little too far.  I know that the bar is set pretty low in this thread and Whitney's and people take pleasure in throwing around some pretty nasty words.  Her dad basically beat the crap out of Christina and her mother on a daily basis, and he admitted to it.  She can fake cry all she wants.

She's a girl who grow up obsessed with Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, and there's nothing wrong with that (many have done the same), I just wish she'd stop trying to pretend otherwise.

I didn't mean it like that. But you are right, that's a horrible thing for anyone to go through regardless of what we think of her now.

Now back to the bashing. She's on GMA and said she listened to a lot of electronica (is Sia that? I didn't think so) and it and having a baby inspired her to make a fun and electronica album with a sophisticated twist.

She sang Genie/WAGW. Her voice is really deep. Genie sounded better.

Surprisingly, yes.  They weren't the whole songs, though.  And WAGW she went into this whole belting, adlib thingy at the end and sang something about thanking her fans for her career.  She sang NMT, GIAB/WAGW (medley), You Lost Me, and Fighter.  I really hate this song.  She sounds a mess on it.  It's just an excuse for her to yell and grunt.  An assault on my ears.

Yeah, that was the song that really gave birth to that god-awful "HA! YEAH YEAH HA! HA! COMEON HA!" thing she does.

I'm glad she did it on TODAY though, otherwise I wouldn't get to lol @ that note she guffed up horrifically.

Riiiiiiiiiight, because nothing says 'My baby has inspired me' more than fun sophisticated electronica music?

LOL @ 'You Lost Me' being released.

Ha! that Christina chooses that song as the final nail in the coffin for this project. The lyrics are strangely apt, I don’t even need to write a parody for this one.

I am done
Smoking gun
We lost it all
The love is gone

We-e-e-e had magic
And thi-i-i-i-s is tragic

A long long loooooong time ago
I can still remember
When her music used to make me smile

"I feel like our world's been infected" well duh, that happened the moment you released your first song.

You Lost Me is an utterly bizare choice for a single. It lacks any kind of melody, nor does her voice flow well on the ear. Its nothing more than an indulgant album track. But thats fine, thats what album tracks are for.

The song is an immediate flop.

I've met some celebs where it's like "God, I used to like you, I'm never buying your album again!"

Christina Aguilera, I met her and she was so mean to me. I thought you know what, forget you!!

She's too young to be blowing people off. She went to a Van Halen show and I went to go say hi to her, my son was up there, and she's like "yeah okay bye."

I'm like...okay. As I walked away I said to my friend, "Did I just get dissed by Christina Aguilera?" and she said "I think you did!"

That's it, never buying anything of her's again.

omg.....

Wow... How much more evidence do her fans need that she's a raving c*nt and people can smell it on her like an unwashed @@$#+*. No one is going to buy her records until she grows up and changes her attitude, period. Well that, and make a consistant album for once.

Her new music however, makes great background for watching gay porn...
