She never was and never will be!

Since this thread is about Christina Aguilera!,  Well she;s clearly having a bad time! lol
but I like the album/singles, esp one with Nicki Minage and prefer her over gaga any day!

I'll always favour those who can sing, the madonna's and gagas have never really appealed to me in that way.

110k is terrible though! Will debut at no.3 on Billboard Im assuming?  It is No.1 on iTunes here in UK apparently.
Gaga sounds better live than Christina now.  Christina's grunts and growls are a #fail

Nobody is hating on Christina because of Mariah anymore! Besides, the hate is not exclusive with Mariah fans.
Everybody is just realising how bitchy and not so much talented she is.

No. Not now. Never will.

I've always preferred Gaga's voice to Xtina's, if you exclude X's first album. Gaga has a decently powerful voice to me and is far more pleasant live. I'm so sick of this "can" and "can't" sing business. Damn near anybody can carry a tune. It's all subjective.

^ Yeah, it's tiring. I'll take Madonna, Janet or even Kylie and Britney (overall) over Christina any day. Christina's music has been !@!% for the past two albums and having the potential  to have a good voice (she's no Mariah or Whitney let's be real) doesn't change that.

i never thought christina sang that well... she has these vicous things she does live that is horrid, like the constant yeahyeahyeahs or the annoying HA's. what's that about anyway? i know her songs are big jokes, but no need to laugh while singing them!

and right now, she's doing it more cause she clearly lost some range.

anyway, i always looked at her as someone with a strong voice, but not a pretty one.

Of course.  I'll never understand how people can listen to music, just for someone's voice.

I'm not hatin' on her. I just think her new album is crap. I used to be a huge fan... until... Stripped. I still enjoy her sometimes, I just find her voice and um... "style" to be all over the place.... and not in the good-Patti-Labelle-type-way

That's the reason I like Mariah and Whitney over Celine and other good singers. Their actual music is good.

That's the reason I like Mariah and Whitney over Celine and other good singers Leona Lewis. Their actual music is good.

Whitney's not so different from Celine to me, although I happen to like far more of her material.  Mariah's the most interesting to me of all of them, for one reason because her songs aren't all the same.  Her sound has evolved.  When you look at the 'I Look To You' or 'Taking Chances' albums, there's not much artistic growth.

Literally yes. Because it nearly killed me, and she sounded like she had no breath left.

She said this album is electronica. I don't hear it on any songs. It's pop with a couple of dance elements.

Nice performance, but I think she should hold back on the belting until the end of the song. When she belts, it sounds whiny and thin. Sometimes it's really unpleasant to the ears.

She doesn't know what electronica is.  Just like I highly doubt she was a prodigy fan when she was 15

I know!!! She probably heard a Prodigy song during the actual recording and decided she wanted to rip it off.

She probably hires someone to seek out pretentious music and briefs her before interviews. I'd have loved for the interviewer to go "What other Prodigy songs do you like?" and watch her not have a clue.

Same way on Back To Basics the influences were all over the place from many decades and she was completely clueless about it
