This is song is fantastic, the remix is great but the original is just bliss, honestly.

The beat - So addictive, bouncy, yes a fantasy rip off but it works!

The vocals- Probably the best vocal performance on Rainbow, seriously image, such great vocals and vocal arrangement

The lyrics- Really genius honestly, especially the second verse

What do y'all think of HB?.

Jay-Z's rap on HB is one of the best raps on a Mariah song, so great, prob the best besides the amazing Bone thugs and harmony on Breakdown.

meh... it's not bad or anything but there's nothing phenomenal about it either. It's just a mediocre rehash of the brilliant fantasy and it's so unoriginal that it even borrows the melody of fantasy's bridge and turns it to a prechorus... The production is pretty good, probably one of the best produced songs on RB. I like Jay's part.
I love the remix. Much more entertaining and at least it's not a carbon copy of a previous hit, love missy on it and brat, the video is really cool and the production is really nice as are most songs DJ Clue did with her including the brilliant make it last/tgify remix

It is one of her best songs ever, IMO.
I remember hearing it the first time on the radio... It was so fresh and totally became a hit here.
I never heard the remix on the radio though. But that's good 'cause I prefer the original.

Not one of my favourites and one of the songs I wish she's drop from her concert set lists, though the Juniour remix is one of my fav MC dance remixes.

Actually, all remixes of this song are amazing. Let's not leave out "HB/IYSEBL" and even "HB/Love Hangover."

In terms of the production, I think the regular version is the least interesting. It has a nice, bright bounce to it, but the others are more interesting. Still, it's hella catchy, Jay-Z provides a great counterpoint, and the melody is nice (particualrly the b-section).

^It's the song's chorus, it's just one of those brilliant melodies that's not only insanely catchy, but that can be sung over almost anything. It's a very remixable song

Agreed. Love all the remixes, and the original is good too, but probably the least exciting. I do think the chorus is probably among her catchiest though and Jay-Z's part is probably one of her better usages of a featured rapper.
