I think giving the hip hop producers a rest would be good too; she could work with people she hasn't before like Mark Ronsan, Amir Thompson( from The Roots), Raphael Saadiq and Salaam Remi; also Brian Michael Cox and James Poyser, good R&B producers

THIS WOULD BE MY ABSOLUTE DREAM!?!?!?! and let one of these guys produce the stevie wonder duet...

I hope she doesn't work with Chrystal Johnson again. IMO she's responsible for a lot of the @$%%%$$ lyrics on 'E=MC2'.

I think they wrote great songs.

And I don't really think the lyrics are shitty.

Bye-Bye, I Stay In Love, Thanx 4 Nothin, Love Story (although it's cheesy), Last Kiss, For The Record, I Wish You Well, Side Effects, even Loving You Long Time (a song they collaborated on) and Crusie Control are well written songs. Also That Chick has some really good lyrics. It's creative. I think the shitty lyrics are found in TMB, OOC and Migrate.

And I think she has mature music on her album. Half of the album is really mature. Shocking rightimage

I want her to make some R & B music that has some real soul. Something old school yet fresh at the same time.
Exactly. I really think a lot of those songs are really well written - but the problem is that element gets drowned out in the over-produced JD -style beats. I mean really, I didn't think 'LS' and 'T4N' were that well written until I heard those acoustic performances then I realised it. They are beautiful - 'LS' has a really nice and interesting melody.

I wish Mariah and JD would just write songs together, then get someone with a more varied approach to produce. If Mariah keeps letting JD produce everything because they're friends, it'll be the death of her career. He's obviously not able to reinvent himself, so that doesn't mean she shouldn't either.

As for Cri$tyle, I actually think she gave Mariah a much needed female-empowered touch to her music.

I agree about the female-empowered thing, but she could have worked with a different female songwriter. I'm sorry but Chri$tyle turned every song she worked on into Beyonce/J Lo. AT times it doesn't even sound like her. The only really well-written songs on this album are 'Side Effects' and 'I Wish You Well' which she had no part in.

Cri$tyle wrote Side Effects with Mariah...

I dont even wanna think about the next album, Not until E=MC2 reaches the audiences its deserves. Im hoping a re-release before the holiday season will bring in the figures we've been expecting all along for this very underrated album!.

Thanks for posting your opinions every one, you all had valid points. It's good to see that it didn't get out of hand with any name calling or what not. Let's cross our fingers that Mariah or her peoples read this thread and took notes.

Eminem: "Hi Mariah, can I touch your boobs?"
Mariah: [drunk] "I'm Mary Poppins!"
Eminem barely touches Mariah and then just jizzes on her stomach
Eminem: "[sobbing] That. Was. Amazing."
Mariah: "You're gross, get me a towel..."
