Constructive criticism please, and no arguing.

First of all, she should take a couple years rest, and then come back fresh. I'd love her to stick with pop/rnb, but lose the rappers. It's not that I hate hip-hop, it's just that I think that formula is played out. She should use the rappers on remix single like she did before.

You mean next year? image

I asked for constructive criticism, not sarcasm!

Eminem: "Hi Mariah, can I touch your boobs?"
Mariah: [drunk] "I'm Mary Poppins!"
Eminem barely touches Mariah and then just jizzes on her stomach
Eminem: "[sobbing] That. Was. Amazing."
Mariah: "You're gross, get me a towel..."

More emphasis on 'singing', less emphasis on trying to stay 'current' or hip. I would like to see her work with only a couple of producers this time and also work more with some other writers to bring fresher ideas. We don't want a TEOM pt. 3 type of album. Lyrically, I want to hear something different.

Honestly I do think there will be another album, but really it's going to take LONG.

well a few things. i think an album with a more organic soulful 70's r&b sound with live instruments would be good (ex. i wish you well, slippin away). or an EP of cover songs or a gospel EP before the actual album. many R&B artists are releasing mixtape these days before the album so that would be cool to hear mariah singing her own lyrics over hip hop samples

need to be more creative
like sing with dolphin, whole song with low notes, pure acoustic
do more crazy stuffs like she has ever done before
let people forget her voice, bring a brand new Mariah to the marketplace

I think you've got the right idea. I don't think these people realize especially the ones complaining that it might be awhile. And, if she gets pregnant we may never see another one. I almost hope that's exactly what happens.

I am all for Mariah going away and living her life for once. She has more than given us enough material to listen to once she goes in to hibernation. Whether it be two years from now or five, I'm just hoping the next album will be stellar, and her vocals will be in better shape.

Sing with dolphins? It's ok to want creativity, but this is just pure fantasy! image I already envision her in the video dressed like the Little Mermaid in a shell surrounded by douzens of whistling dolphins image

If she's gonna have to have her voice back in good shape she needs to quit vocal rest and start training back the cords and take good care of the nodules...

One thing I love about E=MC2 is that it's very mature and it's not just a fun album. She's got some really strong songs to counterbalance the songs that are really fun.

Songs like Bye-Bye, For The Reocrd, Side Effects, Love Story, Last Kiss, Thanx 4 Nothin, I Stay IN Love, I Wish You Well provide a real counter balance to the real dead on commercial tracks like Touch My Body, LYLT, That Chick, Migrate and OOC.

I hope she continues to give us songs that can still sound commercial but be serious at the same time. E=MC2 is the perfect balance of that. Those ballads can still be personal and mature yet commerical and I like that. It's something that you can still relate to and not just jokes. And there isnt anything childish about it.

I want her to work more with Danja, Darkchild, JD again (because when they want to they can come with some innovative things, The Runners, Palaow and I would love for her to continue collaborating with rappers. The formula is not getting played out.

Ain't nothing wrong with her singing on record. She still sounds better than any other singer currently in the game on record. When she's live it isn't the disaster others make it apear to be. Vocally I think she's not what she once was, but she's still a brilliant vocalist.

But I really want form her is those gritty R & B records like Keyshia Cole sings. Mariah sings too sweetly and not with enough aggression. I want some aggression from her.
