Yes. I don't know what you'd call it, Middle Eastern style of singing....my Persian friend showed me some clip of this little boy who had really great control over his voice...the things they can do with it is hypnotic.

It's Jewish-Yemenite style.

The FOMM rule about lipping is:

- If it sound good, then it's lipped
- If it sounds bad , then it's live

As soon as people realize that, the easier it will be.

Totally one of my favorite singers ever.

Her voice is so pristine.

And yeah, her song "Im Nin'alu" was #1 on the Eurochart for several weeks back in 1988 and topped the charts in Germany (9 weeks), Switzerland (6 weeks), Spain and many other european countries.

She also sang on the "Prince Of Egypt" soundtrack image
