At the end of the day it's all a matter of taste.

Memoirs had 1 great song, 2 decent songs, and the rest was forgettable.
MIAM has several great songs, most of the rest is decent and only 2 are fogettable.
I have a winner.

You are always right on the money, do you know that?

But yes, Memours has basically two classics for me and the rest was forgettable, plodding, samey and revealed nothing about Mariah or progressed her.

MIAM has no utter 100% classic song for me but its loaded with loads of really good quality tracks, shows a diversity and progression, plus a return to Mariah writing about something once more with meaningful lyrics built around solid harmonies and structures. This album sh!ts all over Memoirs for the uninspired, dull effort it always was.
