Actually, I think even before her (second) bankruptcy, her career was going off the rails because she was straying too far away from that formula that worked so well for her. That classic R&B sound she delivered back in the day was so distinct and I'm glad she's finally returned to it rather than the kind of generic stuff she was doing on More Than A Woman onwards.


Libra was totally R&B though and had some songs that could've been marketed to UAC but her label at the time was so messy.


Yeah, she was lucky to get out.  Unfortunately, JoJo isn't so lucky.
