I actually think Off The Wall is his best album, followed by Thriller. Bad is too inconsistent for me to put it up there with those two. While I love "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Smooth Criminal," "Man In The Mirror" and "Speed Demon," the rest of the album pales in comparison. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" is passable but nothing great. "Just Good Friends" is lackluster, and "Bad" is just silly (besides the lame line "Your butt is mine," does anyone really buy Michael in the role he plays in that song?).
I just remembered that Spike Lee was in the "Bad" video. That probably explains it.
I actually think Dangerous is his best and most underrated album,
