I don't think anyone logical has said the album was a FLOP, but it has certainly underperformed just like Mariah's "Emotions" did in comparison to "Mariah Carey".

Oh, of course, that's why I put flop in quotes. I would agree that it underperformed- but only according to the standard Gaga set for herself. I was just pointing out the irony of it still out-selling nearly every other release.




I agree with both of you. BTW has definetly underperformed compared to her last album but its sales are more than healthy. Unless she rolls out a third album that is a total turkey, I think she can easily sell 5-6 million per album as a standard and thats more than acceptable for a pop star of her level.


We're all better off accepting that Fame Monster level success was a fluke and won't be happening again for her.
