Really? Her debut is the only album of hers I actually enjoy. I thought they got worse.
Me too! Her debut and follow up (Diary) were the best, rawest music she made. I did not like As I Am (I couldn't stand the lead single "No One's" vocals) and The Element of Freedom was a mixed bag.
I'm really suprised no one seems to like her, was it because she stole Mashonda's man?
I love her debut, Diary was okay, kind of boring. On As I Am she is just... screaming and straining, and I didn't both with Element although I love "Unthinkable" and "Try Sleeping..."
You really should give Element a chance, it's by far her strongest effort imo. Love Is Blind, Wait Til You See My Smile, That's How Strong My Love Is, How It Feels to Fly, This Bed, all great tracks.
