It's funny how whenever an interviewer asks a question about her voice,introducing it with " it's been said your vocal range is
5,7,9.....octaves", she unfailingly says "I don't know, today it's probably less than 1 octave, I didn't sleep..."
It's great that here she talks a bit a more about what went on before she signed her record deal and the interest Warner had in her, the deciding factor
that made her go with Mottola, teh whole industry apsect of her career etc.Ehh, those were the times!I wish we could learn every detail about how it all began
back then, I feel it's exciting as hell!
It is so incredibly great to listen and look at her and feel that she cares about what she's talking about and that she is genuine!This is a beautiful
feeling, it enables us to get to know her!If only meaningful and real things could be discussed in her interviews nowadays, the idea that she is uninteresting
unless they talk about how she had a problem 10 years ago would finally go to hell where it belongs!
