No, no one should be made fun of. And no one was. People expressed extreme opposition to the poster in question because of his statements that "it's ok for her to lipsynch uptempos" and pointed out that it was hypocritical for someone who has so publically bashed everyone else for lip-synching to then go and do it. (Ginger even posted a quote to prove this point).
No where was the poster personally insulted, he totally overreacted when he played the "Make fun of her (or me) if you want, you obviously have deep psychological issues" card. I don't think anyone said "you're an idiot for liking that performance" and there are people praising her in this thread.
Honestly, this is not the place to be discussing Christina if you have a problem with the vast majority disliking her. Yes, it's a silly joke, but the majority of people find it funny. It'll die down soon, probably in a week or two when this album is done. I don't see why everyone should stop having fun because a handful of people don't like it. There are plenty of jokes on this board that I don't get or think are a bit overdone but so what?
No one should personally get laughed at. Except the clown, but that's what clowns are for.
Kevon, it's not just this case and instance. What concerns me are the underlying double standards and hypocrisy, and blatant bullying that goes on.
And while it may not seem many people have an issue with it, I bet it's more than you think. People are simply too intimidated to speak up, and probably don't want to start any drama.
