Eeeeeewwwwwwww.....Sorry. But that would look HORRIBLE on MC.
Even the actress DOES NOT look good in these clothes.
Yeah, agreed.
Disappointed with you, Mama.
Whether this style would suit Mariah, I don't know, maybe not. That's not the point. But I don't see how you can be against her wearing more
flattering clothes?!
As for the actress, I guess it's a matter of taste, but considering all men are drooling over her and the show is bringing back fashion
trends says that most people would probably disagree with you.
And, my point is, I do not find those outfits flattering at all, not even on that actress. I think the fit is rather fugly and does nothing for her or her
body. Even if the style were updated, I'd still probably feel the same way.
And, those men drooling over her, are probably not the type of men I would be into.
I think fashion is a very subjective thing. And, I often disagree with a lot of what many would consider fashionable or appropriate for someone's body.
So, in that respect, I wouldn't care if these people disagreed with me. I know what I like and don't like for my body, whether others like it or
not, is not my issue---for the most part.
I'm not focused on fashion trends, I focus on what I feel most comfortable in. And, I think that's what most people should do.
And, I am in no way getting an attitude with you or saying you can't voice an opinion............we just disagree on this issue.
Wow @ you saying they're not flattering. I can't think of a better way to flatter a heavier-set woman. This is exactly the kind of style
that Marilyn wore, and everybody knows that's the best way to accentuate an hourglass figure. Tell me, what better way would you dress somebody with those
melons and a huge a**?
What you like or don't like for you body, is your own business. And that is subjective. As is style, to a certain degree. But there are certain things
that are just more flattering to certain body types. And if you can't see that, don't quit your day job to become a fashion designer.
I never said to follow trends. But if everybody wore what they're most comfortable in, we'd all be wearing pyjamas and looking like sh*t.
Anyway, I just think it's ironic that a lot of fans here b*tch about Mariah's wardrobe, but have nothing better to suggest.
And as an aside, I just find this situation so empowering to women, and I assumed more ladies here would be glad to see this. Because there is finally a
character on television that is plus size and is still considered a sex symbol. I can't think of anyone else recently in the same position. And it
translates into real life and shows that you can be sexy at any size, as long as you're confident and know what to do with it.
Considering how much Mariah gets called fat and what not, I thought this tied in well. I just wonder where all those people are that said that she
wouldn't be called fat if she wore more things more suited for her body size and shape.
