I thought we were talking overall impressions?

It wasnt #1 at any format, but combined its audience was decent in December.

And most rock albums with songs outside the top 20 don't stay in the top 10 for weeks.

I thought we were talking about the Top 40? Most albums, regardless of genre or amount of impressions dont stay in the Top 10 that long.

My point is that something was keeping Daughtry's album selling while Taylor's fell, and I don't see where Daughtry's single had impacted in a big enough way (especially since it lacked a video) back in December to explain the album staying in and right near the top 10.

How many impressions would satisify you in terms of keeping an album in The Top 10? Even in January, before the video came out, the album was still in the Top 11, so I don't see how the video dramatically impacted sales. (It did help the digital download increase dramtically though)
