What format was it impacting in a big way in
December? It's just now #18 on Mainstream Rock (not yet top 20 at Modern Rock), and it didn't crack the top 20-30 of Pop radio until the past month. How was it doing something in December?

Like I said before, that is normal airplay for a rock song on the rise, and much better than most rock songs. Dont forget, rock songs arent like urban hits which mostly all go at least past 100 and can jump like 20 million in a week.
And most rock albums with songs outside the top 20 don't stay in the top 10 for weeks.

Fall Out Boy's airplay isn't that high either and isnt really growing either. Their album is coming out soon. Are you saying they're just going to drop like nobody's business too?
We'll see.
My point is that something was keeping Daughtry's album selling while Taylor's fell, and I don't see where Daughtry's single had impacted in a big enough way (especially since it lacked a video) back in December to explain the album staying in and right near the top 10.
