I think the problem I had with it was that there really were too many good releases coming out in 2008 that kind of overshadowed E=MC2, which lead me to not
listen to it as much or build hype or really fall in love with it. At least this year other than the Dave Matthews Band album, there hasn't been too much
that I'm really anticipating, such as Brooke Hogan and Ashley Tisdale's CDs sound boring, Hannah Montana 3 is mostly a re-release of the movie
soundtrack with 3 or 4 new tracks, so maybe I'll actually like Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel because 2009 has been lacking in decent music so far. Maybe
with this being the end of a decade and coming off the end of tired genre trends, no one feels like putting effort into a strong album right now.
