Promise? Mariah made a promise? To Oprah? I must have missed that.
If she did, why on earth would she make a promise like that to Oprah of all people? Oprah who can't even maintain her own weight, lately (and in
the past)?
And, I don't see how Mariah didn't stay in great shape for a good length of time. So, she gained a few? It's not like she gained Oprah or
even Kristie Alley type of weight.
She didn't promise but she was talking out of her ass as if she wasn't on a crash diet and working out like a fiend. She was making
it seem like she made a serious lifestyle change when its obvious she didn't.
Um..............so, because she gained some pounds, she didn't make a serious lifestyle change? Please. People go up and down. Oprah has made serious
lifestyle/weightloss changes, and she still goes up and down. It happens to women every single day.
Mariah kept it up for a good amount of time. And, like many, she probably just got a little lazy and didn't workout as much or watch what she ate. So,
I do not see how she was talking out of hera$$. And, it isn't like she's the first newlywed to gain some pounds after getting married. It's
similar to the freshmen 15, imo.
Hell, I need to start taking my a$$ back to the gym. I don't eat more than like two meals a day and have a smoothie, but I still need to get back to
the gym. I know my body is going to hurt like hell when I first start going back
ETA - I don't believe Oprah ever made or commited to a lasting lifestyle change in regards to her weight and overall health.
u clearly don't watch Oprah. But for the record, yes she has, on more than a few occasions.
if anyone got as fit and strong as Mariah did at the begining of the era and then in a matter of months, let it all go back to the way it was (which was
fine) then obviously it was only to get as skinny as possible for the promotion and not because she went through a psychological change.
Agreed.
