I agree with heightsgarage here. From the two items you copied here, I wouldn't call him a hypocrit (but we all know he is usually one), simply because he cannot beat someone when they're down or their live is in danger. Hence the expression "wouldn't wish ill on my worst ennemy".

He did something similar to John Travolta (whom he has always been mean towards) after his son's death.

This proves to me on thing: it is all about money. He creates these feuds with celebrities for the money, he has no real reason to hate any of these people . Unlike someone like Howard Stern, who would not have backed down from previous nasty comments even if the person was at death's door.
