bullcrap, it's the safest song on the album, and a total cop-out, not to mention it's not fair to the 9 or 10 single-worthy songs on the album.
I just wanna say -- in the AI thread, I wrote that I was proud of Mariah -- because even tho there are "commercial" decorations -- the
song at its core is a personal song -- features a complex MariahMelody that you can't sing along to and I'm glad she's putting it out there and not
burying the song. I don't think its a great 2nd single -- but it is brave, is a risk, and I'm proud of her for it.
It won't hurt as bad as you think if E isn't the "success" that TEOM was.
