I don't think "best uptempo since Fantasy" is that extreme of a statement. Although I'm not sure if I am one who thinks that yet, it's comparable in a sense that the song stands out from the rest of her catalog, but at the same time fits in really well with the current landscape of pop music. It's hard to compare what is hot in 1995 to what's hot in 2008, and I think relatively speaking you can make such statement like "best uptempo since Fantasy."

Mariah just has to be careful not to hold on to this too long... it could pull a Get Me Bodied... get mad respect from her audience, lots of random club play throughout the whole album's run, but never get it's time to shine as a single until it's too late. Though, GMB still had an impact, I'd prefer it if Migrate gets it's own time to shine earlier in the album release.

I AGREE 100%. Too many artists wait and try to save the HOT song for later on and when the track finally does come out it prematurely climaxes! I would release BYE BYE to radio the week the CD drops and in June throw MIGRATE out there for that hot summer smash. They wouldn't have to put anymore singles out until October to get those XMAS sales!
