The album's going to be out next year, as she's busy filming er very own Glitter "Burlesque"
She also worked with Tricky Stewart (who said it's going to be r&b electro pop), and Flo Rida.
Collabo with MIA & Santogold has also been confirmed.
No news yet regarding the Le Tigre, Ladytron sessions.
Claud said this is her best (probably better) & more adventurous than Stripped.

This album is going to be either amazing and legendary or a complete disaster. I'm so glad she's going to wait until Lady Gaga is finished releasing her singles from her current album. I didn't think it was a good idea at first to wait until next year, but now I think it's a very good idea. Too much competition out right now. Next year should be much lighter in the diva field, unless of course, Beyonce releases another album.

Well, since it's not going to be legendary, it must be a complete disaster then!

Yeah, I dont think Christina does the middle ground. Stripped was awesome and Back To Basics was dire. I expect she'll either impress me or vomit at how dire it is. I'm just dreading what she'll sound like either, cuz I know it'll give me some serious earache image

Unlike many ppl here who hate Christina, I actually like her 'when she gets it right'. Yes, I've been critical of her in the past as I've been with Whitney, but at least she has 'real' talent unlike many others in the music industry, so I wish her well if she actually does great material.

Just b/c I don't hate on her regularly here doesn't mean I'm a stan.

I was joking about the stan part

But yeah, if she makes good music I could actually check out this album... otherwise, I could care less about her.

I love the Back To Basics album. Understand, Slow Down Baby, Welcome, Candyman, Hurt, Mercy On Me, Save Me From Myself and The Right Man are all amazing songs. And OMG at the vocals on Mercy On Me and The Right Man.

I love Back to Basics too. Especially "Makes me wanna pray". Don't understand why it wasn't released as a single.

Other songs I really love:
Candyman
Nasty naughty boy
Hurt

^^ Love the 'painting'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't get the painting at all. Why is Beyonce on the right side with the older artists?

Today, someone in my office listening to the 'Stripped' album. I swear Aguilera ruined that album with her singing. I don't hear anyone talking about it, but it sounded throughout that she had to go do #2. Her overall vocal technique was terrible on that album. Just compare her vocals from her debut to her 'Stripped' album.

For once, you completely speak the words of truth image I thought her vocals were better on 'Back To Basics', but the songs themselves less engaging.
